Fire crews tackled a blaze in a 40 ton heap of silage at a farm in Lower Padworth this afternoon (Saturday).

Newbury, Dee Road and Whitley Wood crews spent two hours battling the animal feed inferno.

The incident happened at a farm at School Road and firefighters were called to the fire at around 2pm before bringing it under control two hours later.
