A339 near Kingsclere re-opens after lorry fire




Newbury to Basingstoke route re-opens

THE A339 near Kingsclere has re-opened after a lorry fire this morning (Tues).

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) was called at 6.45am to an HGV on fire on the A339 approximately three miles south of Kingsclere.

A pump from Basingstoke, complete with compressed air foam fire extinguishing system, was sent to the scene.

Firefighters departed at 8.38am.
