Turnpike Road reopens following accident this morning (Friday)




Turnpike Road has reopened following a road traffic collision this morning (Friday).

Emergency services were called to the scene near Rooke's Way.

A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service, Michelle Archer, said that ambulance crews assessed people at the scene but no one required hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police spokesman, Hannah Williams, said that officers were called at 8.15am to the damage only collision, which involved a flat top lorry and a car.

She said that no one had been injured and the road has since reopened.
