Public event to be held tomorrow for carers

As part of Carer’s Rights Day tomorrow (Friday) a communal event is being held at The Cloth Hall for local residents looking for information on the important role of caring with the theme of "physical and emotional health."

The free event promises information and advice to support carers and is provided by West Berkshire Council’s adult social care team, Berkshire carers service, Crossroads Care, Friends in Need, seAp Advocacyt and Healthwatch.

The community event will be held at Newbury’s West Berkshire Museum between 10.30am and 2.30pm and all are welcome to attend. Free refreshments will be available.
