Spots and stripes fundraiser at Newbury nursery

SPOTS and stripes were to the fore at a Children in Need fundraiser involving children at a Newbury nursery school.

Children at Victoria Park nursery and children's centre in Victoria Park, were invited to wear spots and stripes and take part in lots of playing and learning inspired by the Children in Need national charity’s Pudsey Bear mascot.

The children enjoyed a Pudsey treasure hunt in the garden and made spotty collages.  The nursery school also hosted a fabulous cake sale, with many families contributing Pudsey inspired, homemade cakes.

“A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped to raise £183 for Children in Need, “ said Gillian Brind, school secretary.
