Council blasts 'inconsiderate' parking at beauty spots

A fish and chip van was destroyed in a blaze in Tilehurst during the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Two pumps, including one from Dee Road Fire Station, Tilehurst and a second from Caversham Road, Reading, were called at 4.20am, to Yew Tree Rise, where the van was well alight.
No one was in the van at the time.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hosereels and foam.
The van was destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters left the scene at 6.15am.
