Newbury 92-year-old celebrates reissue of Battle of Crete book

A SCOOTER destroyed by fire in Newbury during the early hours of this morning (Wed) was put down to a suspected arson.
One fire engine was called from Newbury at 3am to Oakley Road, where the scooter was discovered well alight.
One firefighter extinguished the blaze using a hosereel.
No-one was hurt.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service recorded the incident as a supected arson.
Firefighters left the scene at 3.30am.
