Coronavirus: West Berkshire confirmed cases as of February 25

A MAN was taken to hospital this morning (Wed) after a motorcycle accident on the A339, near Newbury College.
One fire engine was called from Newbury at 8.30 am to the incident at railings near the pedestrian crossing on the A339, after a man believed to be in his late 20’s/early 30’s had come off a black BMW motorbike.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance and firefighters cleared up an oil spill on the road, with one lane shut.
Update Thurs Apr 14
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) has since confirmed an ambulance and paramedics were called at 8.28am yesterday to the Newtown Road incident.
One patient was taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital with possible back injuries.
