BRIMPTON'S Spencer Wilton has won a silver medal in the team dressage at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Wilton, Fiona Bigwood, Charlotte Dujardin, and Carl Hester helped Team GB finish on a team total of 78.602 per cent.
Germany won gold with 81.396 per cent.
In an interview with the Newbury Weekly News last month, Wilton admitted he cried tears of joy after learning of his call-up for the Olympic Games.
And after winning silver, he tweeted: "Thank you everyone that has helped us on our journey I still can't believe Neville and I have won a silver medal at the Olympics #TwoHearts."
Wilton's success follows Burghfield Common diver Chris Mears winning gold on Wednesday.
