THERE aren't too many pigs who can claim to have star quality, however Clare, the Oxord Sandy and Black, can do just that after appearing in TV's Downton Abbey.
The five-year-old celebrity sow was featured in an episode last year where she 'played' Lady Mary's prized pig in an episode aired last year.
And following on her from her star turn in the hit show, which is filmed at Highclere Castle, Clare came third in her class at the Newbury Show yesterday.
Proud breeder Judy Hancox, of the Butts Farm in Cirencester, was showing Clare for the very first time.
She said: "After she was in Downton she's become a bit of poser I have to admit.
"The bigger the camera the more she poses."
