Rabbie Burns to be honoured at John O'Gaunt college this evening
BURNS Night will be celebrated at John O'Gaunt Community Technology College tonight (Friday).
A traditional supper will be followed by a Ceilidh dannce band, Also-Known-As.
The fund-raising event is organised by the college's Parent School Association in the school hall.
Also-Known-As are a popular local barn dance group and played for last summer's HADCAF event. Check them out on their website at www.also-known-as.org.uk and on YouTube.
Tickets, available on the door, are priced as follows: £10 per adult, £5 under 16 and £25 family ticket (two adults and two children.)
Prices include a light supper. Soft drinks will be on sale or you are welcome to bring your own tipple.
