Newbury photographer’s horse study picked for London show

Local photographer Gina Robinson recently beat thousands of other photographers to have one of her photographs exhibited in the Coningsby Gallery in Tottenham Street, London.

Eighty photographs in the group Black and White Photographer of the Year were on display in the gallery in Tottenham Street from June 1 to 3.

The photograph is a black and white study of a horse.

Gina said: “I took this picture in Copenhagen while on a walking tour of the city.

“I was using a Canon 6D with 100-400mm zoom for birds and flowers. As we were passing a stable, I got a picture of this lovely horse in a paddock, turning his head round.

This photograph and others by members of Newbury Photography Club can be seen on display at the Greenham Control Tower as part of the Newbury Photography Club Exhibition which is currently running until July 2.
