Hospital appeal for crutches to be returned

The Royal Berkshire Hospital is urging any unused crutches to be returned from today (Tues)as part of its amnesty

THE Royal Berkshire Hospital is to launch an amnesty for people to return crutches.

It is urging people in West Berkshire to return any crutches no longer needed.

The Reading hospital issues about 134 sets every month at a cost of £11 each.

Some of these are never returned.

People are being urged to return them to the emergency department from today (Tuesday).
