The Royal Berkshire Hospital will offer extended hours this week only to catch up with the backlog of pwork
THE call centre for patient appointments at the Royal Berkshire Hospital is now working again, following last week's IT problems.
To give patients further opportunity to get in contact with the Reading hospital and to deal with the backlog, extended hours have been arranged, for this week only.
The call centre will be open from 7.45am until 5.15pm until Friday (12).
Disruption was caused when problems with the IT system were identified on Thursday and engineers spent several days trying to fix the issues.
