National Cream Tea Day: Take part in our poll and tell us the ‘correct’ way to eat a scone

It’s National Cream Tea Day.

The very British tradition of cream teas dates back to 1662 – and yet still we can’t agree on the best way to eat it.

How do you eat your scone?
How do you eat your scone?

Jam then cream, or cream then jam. How do you eat yours?

Take part in our poll below.

The Cream Tea Society was founded by Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream and Wilkin and Son Tiptree and they are all calling on the British public today (Friday) to enjoy one of the nation’s favourite treats, while raising money for charity.

Since it began, National Cream Tea Day has so far helped raise mo£1.2 million for charities across the UK.
