Newbury Town Council has published its cost ledger, which also has details on how much it spends on various bits and bobs.
It spent £1,761 on office cleaning, and £264 clearing a ditch at Southby’s allotment.
Putting the new mayor’s name – Nigel Foot – on the board at the Town Hall cost £336.
And it pays £150 a time for the bands to play in the bandstand at Victoria Park – where it spent around £1,200 on local toilet hire.
It spent £876 on pressure cleaning the war memorial and £1,848 on repairs to the Town Hall roof.
