How mummy caught Santa - and win an iPad Air
Affia Burgess, aged one, from Kintbury, collected the snuggly Santa at the paper’s offices in Faraday Road after a picture of her reaching for the paper’s 3D Santa was named as the winning entry.
The picture was taken by Affia’s mother, Jodie Rose, using our innovative new app, Newbury i3D – available on the App Store and Google Play – to take a picture of her daughter with our 3D Father Christmas in her home.
The paper is running augmented reality images throughout the year, with a 3D Tyrannosaurus Rex stomping out of page 31 in this week’s edition.
This will be the first of five cretaceous creations to burst out of the paper, followed next month by First World War planes and tanks. Planets and cars will follow later in the year.
Email your best dinosaur picture to Newburyi3d@newburynews.co.uk to be in with a chance of winning an iPad Air.
