Huge antique fair spreads out at Newbury Racecourse

Rummage for a bargain amongst all things vintage at a huge antiques and collector's fair - continuing this afternoon (Mon) at Newbury Racecourse, and until around 4pm.

The One Day Monday Antiques & Collectors Fair boasts items for the home, the garden and for the individual at a total 90 stands, spread across the grandstand and outdoor pitches, offering treasures ranging from furniture and dinnerware, to brass, glass and garden goods.

"If it's character you want to add to your home", said racecourse spokeswoman Emma Last, "then you'll find it in abundance at the Newbury fair. With vintage and antique items of all shapes and sizes, you'll find plenty you will not want to leave behind!"

The Newbury One Day Monday Antiques & Collectors Fair opens from 8am, admission £10 per person. Admission from 10am is £5 per person. Accompanied under 16s are free of charge and discounts are available on group bookings placed in advance, telephone 01636 702326.
