Hundreds enjoy fourth bumper Bucklebury Beer Festival

Hundreds attended the annual beer festival at the Recreation Ground in Bucklebury, taking in a raucous mix of live music, games, activities and trade stands.
Bucklebury Farm Park brought along a selection of animals for youngsters to pet and play with, and the Mini Band, the pint-sized rockers from Thatcham who became a YouTube sensation for their performance last year, returned to play a popular set. The band’s manager, Leo Westby, said: “It was absolutely phenomenal. “It was quite emotional for them; last year they were just little kids having a laugh and then it went crazy.
“It was really nice to see a really big, receptive crowd.”
Funds raised by the event support the ongoing maintenance of the Victory Room event hall in Bucklebury.
