Hundreds of runners gear up for Reading Half Marathon today

HUNDREDS of West Berkshire runners will be among competitors taking part in the Reading Half Marathon today (Sunday).
The race starts in Green Park, 250m from the race site at Madejski Stadium. The route will be exactly the same as in 2013.
If 13 miles is a bit too much, The Green Park Challenge - a 2.8km run open to all the family.
It is designed for serious athletes wanting a shorter race and complete beginners wanting to have fun, get fit and raise money for charity. The start time is 8:30am.
