Hundreds without power in Kintbury

About 1,200 homes and businesses in the Kintbury area have been without power since about 4.30am today (Wednesday)

ALMOST 1,200 properties are currently without power in Kintbury this morning (Wednesday).

Southern Electric has confirmed that there is currently a fault with an underground cable in the Kintbury area, which is affecting between 1,100 and 1,200 homes and businesses in the area.

The first reports of a fault were made at about 4.30am and Southern Electric spokeswoman, Sam O'Connor, said mobile generators were being brought in, which she said should hopefully restore power to the properties from midday.
