ANOTHER year...and another top award for the club that's "worth moving to Hungerford for!"
Congratulations to The Hungerford Club - once again named West Berkshire CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Club of the Year.
The citation said: "A warm welcome is assured at this comfortable bowls, tennis and social club, situated in a quiet area of The Croft, just a few yards from the High Street.

"Games such as billiards and snooker are also played here.
"A recent refurbishment of the bar area has given the club a fresh look.
"The changing guest beer, sourced nationally, is often chosen by club members.
"An annual beer festival is held over the August bank holiday.
"CAMRA members are welcome."
West Berkshire CAMRA branch secretary Mike Avery is pictured presenting the award to club steward Debbie Hutchins.
The club is a regular fixture in the national CAMRA Good Beer Guide and has won the regional award numerous times.
The CAMRA Club of the Year awards aim to find the clubs with the greatest commitment to quality real ale served in great condition and which offer a fantastic atmosphere with welcoming surroundings.
All nominated clubs in the competition are independently assessed by a panel of CAMRA volunteers throughout the year.
West Berkshire CAMRA spokesman Paul Worsley said he reckoned it's so good, "it's worth moving to Hungerford for!"
