Drivers stung for thousands, West Berkshire down 29 spots in 'best place to live' table and free fuel

IN This week's Newbury Weekly News thousands of drivers have been stung by new traffic regulations which forbid drivers from driving over the Parkway bridge.

While those caught out by the changes fume, the council is rubbing its hands at the cash windfall bestowed on it by unwitting motorists.

In Chieveley hundreds turned out to witness the local parish council form its stance in the fight against an incinerator planned for the village.
