Tim Enburey was left with only a few rescued photos of his mother after fire ripped through his mobile home in Crookham Caravan Park on Crookham Common on Monday night.
Also this week, Newbury MP, Richard Benyon, has joined the list of politicians to condemn the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, labelling his alleged killers as ‘sickening’.
Mr Benyon, who served as a soldier and is also a founding trustee of the Help for Heroes charity, described the events in Woolwich just over two weeks ago as ‘vile’.
In other news, a Thatcham woman has given birth to a baby girl on the A339 at Headley after failing to make it to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital on Friday.
