Meanwhile, West Berkshire Council has had its allocation of £22.5million towards repairing the district’s potholes and local roads over the next six years confirmed, according to the Government’s Transport Secretary.
Of the £6billion national allocation between 2015 and 2021 the district will get around £3.7million each year of “locked-in” funding which cannot be spent elsewhere.
