Interfaith cricket match brings community together

The event was organised by the local Peace and Integration Forum.
Spokesman Shahzad Nadeem said: “What a great family day out we had last Sunday.
"Men enjoyed cricket while women and children played rounders.
“Thanks to Andy How, Stephanie Steevenson, Ali Shah and Howard Grace for providing us with such a wonderful, fun-packed day for the whole family.”
He added: “The feedback from the attendees was so great that we may have another event in September this year - and by that time we hope that the players will be in a better shape as some of us realized that our center of gravity had shifted slightly forward!”
