International bestselling author J.S Monroe coming to Thatcham




An international bestselling author is joining in the Thatcham Festival fun on Friday, October 6.

Psychological crime writer Jon Stock – better known as J.S Monroe – will be at the Thatcham Festival event at the Bowling Club.

He will be talking about the inspiration behind his writing and his new critically acclaimed novel ‘No Place to Hide’.

He will be talking about why he changed his name to J.S. Monroe for his crime novels.

He also plans to discuss what he is writing about currently concerning lobotomy psychiatrist Dr William Sargant, which may be turned into a film.

The event will feature a question and answer session courtesy of Marlborough Lit Fest committee member and journalist Mary Vere Parr.

Signed copies of Mr Stock’s latest work, as well as his other novels, will be available to purchase on the evening courtesy of Hungerford Book Shop.
