Investigation launched after pedestrian injured




Lambourn man injured after being hit by a car on Saturday night

POLICE are investigating after a Lambourn man was reportedly knocked down by a car at the weekend.

The incident happened on the Upper Lambourn Road between Lambourn and Upper Lambourn.at about 9.50pm on Saturday.

The pedestrian, who is believed to be in his twenties, was hit by a car and was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon with leg injuries.

Thames Valley Police are currently investigating the incident.

Police have dismissed early reports that it was a suspected hit and run incident.
