Irish singer/songwriter plays New Greenham Arts

Newbury Carnival Fundraising Concert

Irish singer/songwriter Ken Haddock plays an acoustic set at New Greenham Arts on Monday evening, in aid of Newbury Carnival.

The chairman of Newbury Carnival 2015, Bryan Harper, said: “We are delighted to hold this extra event after the carnival itself to help raise funds. Ken Haddock is an extremely accomplished singer/songwriter. I was lucky enough to meet him recently in Belfast and when I asked him if he would come and play for us he jumped at the chance.”

“He is making a special commitment to us, and I would like to return the compliment with a great turn out. I know that he will be warmly welcomed by an appreciative Newbury audience.”

Ken has a voice that is distinctive, diverse, powerful yet comforting. A regular performer at the likes of the Belfast/Nashville Singer Songwriter Festival and the Open House Festival, Ken is a well-known face in the live lounges of Belfast and commands a loyal crowd wherever he appears. He regularly performs to large audiences at the city centre Belfast Empire.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets can be obtained from Bryan Harper direct on 07545 483432, through the Corn Exchange box office 0845 5218 218. Tickets are £10, with all profits going to Newbury Carnival.
