Isn't that Fanny?
The cast of E4's hit comedy, The Inbetweeners, were seen in Upper Bucklebury as part of a Comic Relief challenge
A TRIP down Fannys Lane in Upper Bucklebury was obviously enough to tickle some visitors.
Posing for photographers by the curious road sign last week was the cast of E4 television's comedy, The Inbetweeners, for a Comic Relief challenge to visit Britain's rudest road signs.
The cast of the sitcom had to visit 50 rude road signs in 50 hours and were tipped off about the sign which turns north out of Burdens Heath between Upper Bucklebury and Cold Ash via social networking websites.
And residents in the area took their visit in good humour.
Fannys Lane resident and Inbetweeners fan George Sandford, aged 17, was delighted to see the lads in his street.
He said: “I couldn't believe it when I saw them on my road on my way home from school.
“They were all really great and we had a good laugh while they stood around the sign.
“They also told me about the other places they had visited, including a place called Fingringhoe (Colchester) and a farm called Twatley.”
A film about their trip will be available at the Comic Relief website, which can be accessed by clicking the link below, from February 3.
Fans can also pledge donations on the website.
