Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, the Broadway and West End smash hit Shrek the Musical is a fun filled and hilarious musical comedy with a cast of vibrant characters and a ‘shrek-tackular’ score.

Featuring the beloved Princess Fiona, the evil Lord Farquaad, a host of magical fairy-tale characters and fabulous songs including the smash hit ‘I'm a Believer’, Shrek the Musical is a “musical extravaganza for big kids and little kids alike”.

Newbury Nomads is offering a family ticket for four people to join the adventure for its matinee performance on Saturday, October 7, at Newbury’s Corn Exchange.

To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is print off the picture of Shrek and Donkey here and colour it in. Then pop it in the post to Shrek the Musical, Newbury Weekly News, Newspaper House, Faraday Road, Newbury, RG14 2AD.

All entrants must be aged under 11 and the closing date for entries to arrive at the NWN is Tuesday, September 26. The winners will be notified by Wednesday, October 4.

And if you aren’t the lucky winner you can still book tickets for the show, which runs from Wednesday, October 4-Saturday, October 7, on the Corn Exchange website.

Tickets cost £21.25, with concessions at £19.25.

With a talented local cast and live orchestra this show promises to be a great family night out.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Musical Theatre International (Europe). All authorised performance materials are also supported by MTI.
