It’s Kintbury St Mary’s School scarecrow trail!

FROM Wallace and Gromit to Paddington bear – who has been much in the news of late – Kintbury’s scarecrow trail was a riot of imagination.

The annual World Book Day event is organised by the parent teacher association (PTA) at Kintbury St Mary’s School.

Organiser Tash Westall-Briggs said: “It all started during the Covid pandemic in 2021 – the school wanted to do something for the children to be able to see in the village.”

It was so popular that the PTA took it on, and it is now in its fifth year.

The event is due to finish on Sunday, March 9.
