It's a beery meander, to put it mildly...

The ‘mild meander’ will take in four pubs serving mild ale or a lower strength beer.
The pubs are the Butt Inn, Aldermaston Wharf, the Rowbarge Inn, Woolhampton, the Angel, Woolhampton and the nearby Falmouth Arms.
The first pub to be visited is the Butt Inn at 1.30pm.
The three mile, meandering walk along the canal towpath to the Rowbarge Inn will give participants a chance to work up a good thirst by the planned 3pm arrival time.
Among the brews to be sampled along the way are Loddon Brewery’s Hoppit, Banks’ Mild, Marston’s Merry Monk abd Maggs’ Mild from the West Berkshire Brewery, which was the LocAle prizewinner in the Mild category at the 2012 Reading Beer and Cider Festival.
CAMRA’s Mild in May campaign is all about encouraging local pubs to stock a mild beer throughout the month, and to encourage drinkers to give this traditional beer style a try.
With more than 230 milds now available to beer drinkers across the UK, the beer style has undergone a resurgence in recent years, with less than half this number brewed at the end of the 20th century.
CAMRA spokesman Tony Jerome said: “The mild beer style has made a real return to form in the last couple of years, and in the last five years alone, three different mild beers have won CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain title, beating other styles to the accolade.”
Further details, including train and bus times, are included in the Mild Meander event page, accessible from the diary section on the West Berkshire CAMRA website at www.westberkscamra.org.uk
