It's A-level results day!
NewburyToday reporters and photographers will be out and about at schools across the district to speak with pupils, parents and school staff, and we will be updating this page throughout the morning as the results come in.

The first school in West Berkshire to announce its results is St Gabriel's!
The all-girl school's pupils has achieved 100 per cent pass rate for A* to E results, with almost half at A* and A.
Among the top achievers are Abi Wooden from Woolton Hill , who gained two A* an A and intends to study medicine in Bristol; Gemma Motion from Crocham Heath with two A*and A, who will read law in Manchester and Bryony Bedingham from Boxford, who also gained two A* and one A, leaves to study ancient world at University College London.
Abi said: "I wasn't really expecting it, it's really a surprise.
"I am really excited to go to university and I can't wait.
"It's something I have always wanted to do, it's completely amazing. I am off to oxford to celebrate and to get som course books from Blackwells."
Ellie Oretti who got one A* and two A's will be studying history at Exeter. She said: " I feel amazing I am so relieved and excited. We are all going out tonight to celebrate."
St Gabriel's principal Alun Jones said: "I am absolutely delighted, the most important thing is that they are getting in to their first and second choices. I am thrilled for the girls who move on with such academic and social confidecce."
Pupils at Newbury's Park House School are also celebrating, with an A* to E pass rate of 98.4 per cent.
Almost three quarters of students achieved all of their results at a grade C or above, and more than a half at B or above.
It also had a record breaking 8.8 per cent of students achieving A* for the national exams.
Headteacher Derek Peaple said: "These are excellent results. I'm very proud of every single one of them."
Among the high achievers at the school is Bradley Day, who got two A* grades and two A grades, and is heading to Sheffield to study bio-chemistry. He said: "I feel good - I was expecting much less. I'm very excited to go to university."
Another is Josh Eaton, who got two A* and an A. "I feel good. I'm going to Exeter to do accounting and finance. I'm very excited to go to university."
JOHN O’Gaunt School in Hungerford was celebrating after achieving a 100 per cent pass rate at A Level for the third year in a row, with a third of A Level results achieving A* - B.
Headteacher Sarah Brinkley said: “I’m thrilled that the hard work of our students has been rewarded with these results.
"I am also extremely proud of our BTEC students; 50 per cent of these results achieved the highest grade of a ‘distinction’ and again, there was a 100 per cent pass rate."
Trinity School headteacher Charlotte Wilson said she was delighted to announce a 100 per cent pass rate of results at A* to E, with 35 per cent of all results at A* to A.
She said: "We are delighted with the results. Year on year they continue to improve.
"Students and staff worked incredibly hard to achieve these good results and thanks to parents for their support."
Stephen Rowe (pictured), aged 18 of Newbury, achieved three Bs in music, history and music technology and has secured a place at Warwick University to study contemporary music.
Denefield School, Tilehurst, achieved 99 per cent of results at A* to E, 69 per cent at A* to C, 41 per cent at A* to B and 12 per cent of all grades were A and A*.
Students who have achieved exceptionally well include Chris Payne, who achieved an A* in the extended project, A grades in Geography and Psychology and a B in Biology and Emily Sheppard, who achieved A* grades in the extended project and fine art, and B grades in media and psychology.
There were tears of joy for Willink student Emily Carmichael (pictured), who got an A* in Maths and Biology and an A in Further Maths.
The 18-year-old admitted she did "much better than expected."
She said: "Me and mum had a good cry when I checked the UCAS website this morning.
"I'm over the moon."
She has been accepted into Bath University to study Further Maths.
At The Willink, 73 per cent of students gained at least one A*, A or B grade, 98.4 per cent of examinations were passed, and 16 per cent of students gained at least one A*.
Other top achievers include Harry Dudding, with tow A*, two A; Sergio Korchoff, two A*, A, B; and Todd Robinson, three A*, one A.
At Kennet School, Thatcham, 85 per cent of students gained A* to C grades. Freya Eaton is celebrating an A* and two A grades and James Ashford (pictured) achieved two A*s and an A.
He will attend University College London from September to read theoretical physics.
Other top performers were 18-year-old Will Collie, who got 3 A*s in Physics, Maths and Economics.
The results saw him get into Warwick – his first choice University – where he will read Physics.
He said: “I got A, B, B at AS, so this is quite a jump up. I really didn’t think the exams went that well so I’m absolutely delighted.”
Another student who impressed with their grades was Laura McNally, 18, who got an A*, two A’s and a B. She has been accepted into Nottingham University to read Geology.
“I’m so over the moon because my results were so much better than I was expecting. I can’t wait for Uni now,” she said.
At Newbury's St Bartholomews School, 26 per cent of grades were As or A*, over 50 per cent were A and B and it had an overall pass rate at A* to E of 99 per cent, with 80 per cent of all grades at C or above.
Headteacher Julia Mortimer said: "We are really delighted that our students have been so successful.
"The students have all done exceptionally well."
The Downs School, Compton, achieved 70 per cent A* to B grades and 99 per cent at A* to E - a seven per cent increase on last year.
Headteacher Chris Prosser said: "I'm really pleased and proud of the students, staff and parents.
"The school prides itself on strong partnerships and it is an all-round team effort."
