Jogger may have been abducted in Burghfield say police
At around 10pm on Saturday a member of public was driving along Burghfield Road, near to the bridge over the M4 when she thought she saw someone grab a female jogger as she was running.
The member of public turned her car around to check on the woman’s welfare but there was no sign of anyone.
Detective Sergeant Paul Davidson, investigating the incident said: “There might be an innocent explanation for what the witness saw, but we are trying to find out who the jogger is so that we can make sure she is safe and well.
“Do you recognise the jogger’s description?
“If you have a hotel or bed and breakfast in the area, are all your female guests accounted for?”
The jogger is a white female and had her hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a jacket that has reflective arrow heads on the rear.
Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Det Sgt Davidson, via 101.
