John Craven to attend Berkshire Show





Fans of the presenter, made famous by 1970’s children’s programmes

and the

, will have the chance to meet him and have copies of his book, the

, signed.
He will also be turning his hand to radio, at the BBC Radio Berkshire stage.
John Craven said: "I love the atmosphere of a country show and, from all I have heard, they don't come any better or more varied than the Berkshire Show.”
The chairman of the show, Ian Nutt, said that he was “delighted” to have secured the TV personality as a special guest, adding: “There is perhaps no TV personality more synonymous with the countryside, and I know he understands and cares deeply about rural issues.”
Also confirmed for the weekend is a Jubilee salute from wartime Spitfire, BMX and skateboarding displays and coaching and livestock displays, including the National Aberdeen Angus show, and much more.
