The 63-year-old, of Speenhamland Court, off Pelican Lane in Newbury, is charged with intentionally exposing his genitals, intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress, on Thursday, July 18.

The offence is contrary to section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Mr Davis should have reported to court staff at 9.30am.

But when, by late morning, he had not shown up, prosecutor Chad Echakowitz applied for an arrest warrant.

Mr Echakowitz told the court that Mr Davis had been free on bail, on condition that he did not enter The Bacon Arms in Oxford Street, Newbury.

District judge Samuel Goozee granted the warrant for Mr Davis’ immediate arrest.
