Just weeks left for winner to claim £400,000 lottery prize

The ticket, purchased in Reading, will expire on April 26, leaving the £404,236.60 unclaimed

The clock is ticking for a mystery local lottery winner.

The punter, who bought the ticket in Reading, has just four weeks left to claim the EuroMillions prize worth £404,236.60.

The owner of the winning ticket matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw on October 28 last year.

With just a month to go, National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets one last time. The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 10, 15, 17, 40, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 2. The lucky ticket-holder has until April 26 to claim their prize.

A National Lottery spokes-man, Patrick Lisoire, said: “Time really is running out for the winner

of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”

If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects in the UK.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
