Kingsclere's cemetery fees to rise five per cent from April

CEMETERY fees are to rise in Kingsclere by five per cent from April.

The rise was agreed by parish councillors at a recent meeting and, afterwards, chairman Alan Denness said that the rise in prices was in line with increased maintenance costs at the cemetery.

Mr Denness added that there had not been any rise in cemetery fees in the village for two years.
