Knife pulled in attempted robbery at Tesco store in West Berkshire





At about 2.30pm last Wednesday (November 11) a man entered the Tesco Express store in Knowsley Road, Tilehurst.
The offender approached the cashier, a 29-year-old woman, while holding a knife and asked for money.
No money was handed over and the man left empty handed after the cashier screamed.
The offender ran off in the direction of Talbot Way.
The offender is described as white, about 6ft 2ins, with a slim build, and he was wearing a black top with a hood, a black beanie hat and black tracksuit bottoms.
