Newbury's Kokoro temporarily closed as staff self-isolate

The new Kokoro in Northbrook Street, Newbury, will be closed until next week as staff self-isolate.

A spokesperson for the bento restaurant said: "We are closed due to staff shortages as two are in quarantine at the moment.

"We will be opening next week."

A sign on the door of the bento restaurant currently reads that the store "will be closed until further notice" due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Japanese/Korean restaurant opened its doors in Newbury in November last year, replacing the former Ginsters pasty store which closed in April 2019 just six months after opening.
