Ladies Day at Newbury Racecourse this weekend

Prizes for best dressed while ABBA tribute band play live after racing

IT’S time to dust off the top hats and thrown on your best frocks – as Ladies Day returns to Newbury Racecourse tomorrow (Sat).

Those attending will have the chance to enter the Most Stylish Racegoer competition, with the winner receiving a holiday to Florida for two, worth up to £4,500, courtesy of Charter Travel of Newbury.

The family-owned and operated independent travel agency will also have a stand at the event and is encouraging racegoers to chat with its staff and take part in a prize draw for a bottle of Champagne every hour.

Betfred Ladies Day 2015 will be run for the first time in support of Breast Cancer Care and will feature a performance from ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again live after the racing.

Other entertainment will include a cocktail mixologist and a professional photo experience, as well as the Refresh & Revive Pamper Zone, in association with Parkway Shopping Centre.

The day will feature seven races.
