NEWBURY Racecourse attracted thousands of visitors today to a ladies' day.
The sun shone down on the Betfred Ladies Day - billed as the highlight of the summer season.
Proving the perfect excuse for a new outfit, with a Best Dressed Lady competition and Florida holiday for the winner, there were also pampering treats and samples in a Refresh and Revive zone and touch of the fast life - on the car racing track - with a display of the latest Porsche cars.
The day's horse racing finished late in the afternoon, with top class action including the Geoffrey Freer and Hungerford Stakes at 2.40pm -but relaxing fun in the sun continues with music by 'superstar' DJ's Annie Mac and Pete Tong, during the early evening.
