Lambourn Co-Op and Post Office re-opens tomorrow

The branch closed on Saturday, October 25, at 12.30pm and will reopen tomorrow at 1pm.
The Co-op store in which the Post Office service is based was also closed for that period.
During the refurbishment work customers requiring postal services were required to go further afield, including to branches in The Square, Aldbourne, and the village shop in The Mead, Great Shefford.
Before the work commenced, branch manager Sue Giddings said: “This will become a main branch Post Office with extended hours of service.
“I know it will unfortunately inconvenience some people while we’re closed, but the shop will also be improved.
“There will be lots more choice, more freezers and a larger range of chilled food.”
The change to a main- style branch is part of a major modernisation programme and will feature longer opening hours.
