Lambourn jockey McCoy in hospital following heavy fall at Cheltenham





McCoy took a heavy fall from Quantitativeeasing in the 4.20 three mile handicap hurdle.
At 5.20pm he was being assessed by the medical team at Cheltenham and has now been transferred to the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester with a chest injury.
Cheltenham Racecourse has said that McCoy is conscious and can move his arms and legs.
