Lambourn ploughing match cancelled

Organisers said they have been forced to cancel this year's event because heavy rain has made the site unusable.
The event was due to take place at Lambourn's Strouds Farm on Saturday with around 60 ploughmen expected to showcase their skills.
However in a statement, the Newbury and District Agricultural Society said: “It is with much regret that we have cancelled the Ploughing match and clay shoot that was due to be held on 20th October 2012.
“Sadly the sustained rain we have endured over the last few days fell on already sodden ground and has left us no option but to cancel.”
