Lambourn’s 2025 Calendar makes landfall in South Carolina home of Lynda Gaines

HERE’S proof from a former villager that Lambourn’s 2025 Calendar is going global.

Old friends in the village will recognise Lynda Gaines as she poses outside her sunny South Carolina home clutching a copy.

Last month the Newbury Weekly News and newburytoday.co.uk reported how the calendar was already going international, with former residents as far afield as the US, Canada and New Zealand ordering copies to remind them of their old home.

The 2025 calendar was created by former Newbury Weekly News journalist Sara Bartlett and is available from Lambourn Universal Stores.

Ms Bartlett said at the time: “I was very excited to sell three copies in advance to former Lambourn resident Lynda Gaines, who now lives in the US.

“Lynda always buys calendars for herself and her daughters to remind them of Lambourn.

“And I have just posted another to Australia.

“Others are going to Canada and New Zealand – it’s probably the most well-travelled calendar in West Berkshire!”

She has now been sent this photo of Lynda Gaines holding her prized calendar in her garden in subtropical South Carolina in the southeastern region of the United States.

The calendar, which has been produced by Print Image of Marlborough, is in A4 size, opening out to A3.

It comes with an envelope and is being sold at Lambourn Universal Stores for £8.99.
