Land ho! Havoc on A34 as boat overturns

More typically spotted on the high seas the vessel flipped over while being transported on the back of a vehicle near East Ilsley at about 6pm.
Traffic is queuing for miles in both directions following the incident.
The southbound carriageway between Bury Lane and High Street West Ilsley is completely shut, with congestion back to the Milton Interchange.
One lane is closed northbound with queuing traffic near the East Ilsley turn off, and residents have reported traffic clogging the village as drivers attempt to divert through.
The problems are stretching from Newbury into Oxfordshire.
An estimated re-opening time of 8pm was given by the Highways Agency.
