Land Rover overturned in large illegal rave in Hungerford last night (Sat)
A local resident got in touch with NewburyToday with concerns, reporting that he had seen in excess of 200 cars parked near the area.
He added that a Land Rover had also been overturned at one of the entrance (pictured), perhaps to prevent police from gaining access to the rave.
In addition, he said, there were between 20 and 30 police vehicles in attendance by 4.30am from both the Thames Valley and Hampshire forces.
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police, Hannah Williams, confirmed that police had attended, but exact numbers of officers and police units has not yet been confirmed.
She said that Thames Valley Police attended the illegal rave, which was being held near Inkpen, at 12.30am today (Sunday).
Supt Lindsey Finch, LPA Commander for West Berkshire, said: "We are aware of how events like this impact on the local community and we will continue to do everything we can to prevent future illegal raves and to reassure local residents and landowners.
"Officers are currently dealing with this incident."
Anyone with concerns or information on the incident can contact Thames Valley Police on the 24-hour non-emergency number 101.
