One lane is closed, eastbound, on the M4 between junction 13 at Chieveley and junction 12 for the A4 at Theale

Work to repair a safety barrier on the M4 are causing long delays today (Monday).

One lane is closed, eastbound, between junction 13 at Chieveley and junction 12 for the A4 at Theale.

The closures are part of a series of carriageway construction works identified by National Highways as being planned until the beginning of November along that stretch of the motorway.

The current lane closure is due to be in place until 6am on Friday (August 25).

Both National Highways and the AA currently report heavy traffic along the entire stretch of the motorway between junctions 13 and 12.
